Last Saturday, April 30, TECNIDA signed a collaboration agreement with the non-profit organization UNES. With this signature he commits himself once again, to a social cause.

TECNIDA has always had a vision that goes beyond the commercial side and that is why it has always been involved in social projects that propose to improve the life and coexistence of people.

TECNIDA intends to leave its mark on this society, not only at the business level but also socially and that is why it addresses collaborations such as the one it formalized last April.

On Saturday the 30th, TECNIDA signed a collaboration agreement with the non-profit organization UNES. With this signature, it is once again committed to a social cause that is dedicated to promoting sport among people with disabilities.

On Saturday, TECNIDA had the opportunity to enjoy the match between UNES FC Barcelona and IMF SMART EDUCATION GETAFE, which ended with the latter's victory, after a very even match.

Subsequently, the signing of the agreement was formalized, with the assistance of the President of the Sports Union, Mrs. Montse Grà cia, its director, Mr. Jaume Vilella and the administrators of TECNIDA, Messrs. Daniel Zamorano and Daniel Viñals.
WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT SOME?
UNES has been promoting the practice of sports among people with physical disabilities since 1983, the main focus being wheelchair basketball.

​ The aim of UNES in these 30 years is to increase the number of disabled people who play sports and position itself as a reference entity in Catalonia, both in the competitive and recreational fields.
​
​ Since 2009 the UNES Unió Esportiva, manages the wheelchair basketball section of FC Barcelona, is the first team to play in the national league under the name of Barça Regal UNES.
​
​ In addition, in the same year the club promoted the AFA (Adapted Physical Activity) school, a project that today has strong support and agreements with hospitals and rehabilitation centers, such as the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Vall d'Hebron Hospital and Moisés Broggi Hospital.
​
​ Some want to show that everyone can play sports, regardless of their physical limitations. To date, a total of 1,500 beneficiaries corroborate this.
​
​ UNES boys and girls learn values of social integration and to be part of a community, where they meet other boys with disabilities. With them they learn that the limitations are set by oneself and that sport is life and health through a sport with which they enjoy it.
​
​ There is no gender or age discrimination in UNES and a family and friendly atmosphere thanks to an inclusive sport.
​
​ The Sports Union conveys that despite disabilities, one can do things for oneself, and both people with disabilities and their families gain more independence and freedom.
